Patek Philippe Cioccolatone Square 18K Yellow Gold with Extract Ref. 2486 from 1954

An exceptionally rare Patek Philippe Ref. 2486 “Cioccolatone”, produced in 1954 and distinguished by its unusual large square case and beautifully preserved vintage character.

The impressive 31 × 37 mm case is crafted in solid 18k yellow gold, with sharp lines and clearly visible hallmarks. Its bold square architecture gives the watch remarkable presence and makes Ref. 2486 a particularly interesting Patek Philippe dress watch from the period.

The original silver-white dial features elegant enamel printing and is complemented by the original yellow gold Patek Philippe crown and a mineral crystal.

Inside beats the beautiful Patek Philippe Calibre 10-200, bearing the double Geneva Seal. The manual-wind movement has received a fresh service from our watchmaker and is running excellent.

Importantly, the watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, confirming its production in 1954.

Presented on a Patek Philippe signed alligator leather strap with a period-correct AW Wenger gold-plated buckle.
