An iconic Corum $20 Double Eagle Coin Watch, crafted from an authentic 1895 United States $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle gold coin. Combining American history with ingenious Swiss watchmaking, the Coin Watch remains one of Corum’s most recognizable and collectible creations.

The 35 mm watch incorporates the original 22k gold coin within an 18k yellow gold case. Corum’s ingenious construction preserves the character of the historic coin while concealing an ultra-thin mechanical movement inside.

The watch remains in excellent, completely original condition and is powered by a manual-wind mechanical movement, running beautifully. It features Corum’s characteristic transparent cabochon crown and is fitted with a new 20 mm handmade Belgian leather strap, paired with the original 16 mm gold-plated Corum pin buckle.

Introduced in 1964, the Corum Coin Watch quickly became an icon. The genuine gold coin is carefully divided to accommodate the movement while retaining the appearance and details of the original Double Eagle.

The 1895 Liberty Head Double Eagle, designed by James B. Longacre, features Lady Liberty on the obverse and the American eagle on the reverse—turning this watch into a fascinating combination of horology, jewellery, and numismatic history.
