The solid 18k yellow gold GM case measures 23 × 30 mm, offering the beautifully balanced proportions for which the vintage Tank Louis is so admired. The watch is finished with the traditional blue natural sapphire cabochon crown, one of the defining details of the Tank Louis.

Its original white lacquer dial features classic black Roman numerals, elegant blued steel hands and the coveted “Paris” signature at 6 o’clock. The dial remains beautifully preserved overall, showing only minimal signs of natural aging, including light cracking toward the right corner. These subtle traces of age give the watch authentic vintage character without detracting from its elegant appearance.

The mineral crystal remains clean and provides a clear view of the dial.

Inside is the Cartier Calibre 78-1 manual-wind movement, freshly serviced and running excellent. The watch is supplied with a 1-year warranty.

Particularly attractive is the presence of its original glossy black Cartier Paris lizard leather strap, handmade in France and paired with a Cartier vermeil pin buckle. The watch is also accompanied by its original red Cartier Paris presentation box, completing the wonderfully period-correct presentation.
