An exceptionally elegant and rare Vacheron Constantin Prestige de la France Ref. 15207, presented as a full set with its original Vacheron Constantin box, paperwork, and warranty card dated 1977.
Created to commemorate Vacheron Constantin receiving the prestigious “Prestige de la France” distinction in 1972, this remarkable model is defined by its curved, asymmetric trapezoidal case. Its refined proportions follow the principles of the golden ratio, resulting in a design that is both sculptural and beautifully balanced.
The elongated 18 × 37 mm case is crafted in solid 18k yellow gold and remains in wonderful condition, with clear hallmarks still visible. The factory-original textured champagne dial is spotless, complemented by a flawless mineral crystal and the original crown set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
Inside is a manually wound Vacheron Constantin calibre, freshly serviced and running excellent. The watch is fitted with a bespoke handmade Belgian alligator leather strap and its original solid 18k yellow gold Vacheron Constantin buckle.
