Jaeger-LeCoultre Powermatic Bumper Automatic French 18K Rosé Gold Breguet Numeral Dial from 1950s
A rare and highly charming Jaeger-LeCoultre Powermatic from the 1950s, housed in an elegant 18k rosé pink gold French case with beautiful proportions and strong vintage character.
The case measures approximately 33 mm and bears clear French eagle head hallmarks, confirming its 18k gold construction. Its distinctive shape gives the watch a refined presence on the wrist, while the plexiglass crystal preserves the authentic period feel.
The true highlight is the untouched original dial, featuring applied Breguet numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 and a power reserve indicator beneath 12 o’clock, displaying the remaining reserve from 0 to 40 hours. This unusual layout gives the watch exceptional charm and collectibility.
Powered by the freshly serviced Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 481 bumper automatic movement, running excellent. The crown appears to have been replaced in the past.
