A rare collector’s Santos Dumont from the 1980s, crafted in solid 18k yellow gold and powered by the legendary ultra-thin Frederic Piguet Calibre 21. Reference 821054 is particularly sought after, as it was exclusively reserved for the guilloché dial variant.
The beautifully textured original dial remains well preserved with only minor signs of age, complemented by blued steel hands and the iconic sapphire cabochon crown. Measuring 27 × 36 mm, the Extra Plat case retains crisp hallmarks and sharp original lines, appearing largely unpolished.
Freshly serviced and running excellent, the watch is fitted with an ultra-flat handmade black leather strap crafted in Belgium and paired with a Cartier vermeil pin buckle.
