Cartier Santos Carrée Ghost Grey Patina "Swiss" Only Automatic GM Ref. 2961 from 1980s

A rare and beautifully preserved Cartier Santos Carrée Ref. 2961 “Ghost” from the 1980s, combining the iconic gold-and-steel Santos design with the highly sought-after grey “Swiss”-only dial.

The original Ghost dial has developed a subtle, attractive patina while retaining its distinctive grey tone and early “Swiss” signature. Golden hands and the signature blue sapphire cabochon crown provide the perfect contrast.

The 29 × 41 mm stainless steel case and original bracelet remain unpolished, preserving their original lines and finish. Only the gold bezel has received a light brushing. The iconic steel bracelet with golden screws remains long at approximately 18 cm.

Inside beats the Cartier Calibre 077 automatic, freshly serviced and running excellent.
