Cartier Santos Carrée Burgundy Red 'Swiss' Dial Lady Automatic Ref. 0901 From 1980s

An exceptionally rare and charismatic Cartier Santos Carrée Ref. 0901 from the 1980s, distinguished by its beautiful original burgundy red “Swiss”-only dial. Paired with an automatic movement and early MK1 bracelet, this is a particularly unusual configuration of the vintage Lady Santos Carrée.

The stainless steel case measures 24 × 35 mm and remains in great condition. It is fitted with its original MK1 steel bracelet, which remains unpolished and remarkably tight with virtually no stretch. The bracelet measures approximately 16.5 cm.

The real highlight is the original burgundy red dial, signed simply “Swiss” at 6 o’clock. The dial retains a wonderfully deep, glossy finish and shows only minor natural spider-effect aging, adding authentic vintage character without taking away from its striking appearance. The rich burgundy color — so closely associated with Cartier — makes this a particularly captivating Santos.

Steel hands, a spotless sapphire crystal and the distinctive red sapphire cabochon crown complete the monochromatic steel design.
